How we work
Bioalmanac exists because the information people need to research peptides safely is scattered across sites that each own one piece of it — and because the piece most likely to hurt someone, the arithmetic, is usually the worst served.
Evidence level on every page
Every compound profile carries an explicit evidence level from a fixed set — preclinical, early human, clinical, approved. It is a category, not an adjective, so 'promising' and 'well-studied' never do work that a citation should be doing.
The regulatory line is dated
Regulatory positions here change quarterly. Every status line records the date we last checked it, so you can judge how current it is instead of assuming. An undated claim about legal status is worse than none.
We describe, we do not prescribe
Dose ranges report what a cited source says and are labelled by source type. They are never fed into the calculator and never presented as guidance.
The tools are free and need no account
The calculator is not gated behind an email address and never will be. An account exists so you can save things, not so we can charge for arithmetic.
We sell nothing
No store, no affiliate links, no paid vendor placement. Position in the vendor directory is not purchasable and never will be — which is the only way a price index is worth reading.
Corrections are published
Every page has a way to tell us it is wrong. When we fix something we say so rather than quietly editing.
What is built, and what is next
All four parts are live: the compound profiles, the calculator, the price index reading per-milligram prices from vendor sites, and the tracker, which logs doses against the specific vial they came from so your history knows which batch and which vendor it belongs to.
Next is Pepfolio: Peptide Tracker — the same tracker as a phone app, by Bioalmanac, on the same account, because the moment you actually need it you are standing at a fridge holding a vial rather than sitting at a desk. Everything on the website is free and stays free.
